Beginning at Almyrida Harbor, our journey will take you first to Karga Island, where you can explore the German fortress and the charming church of Saint Nickolaos.

Description

From there, we'll visit Keras Beach near Kalyves, followed by the scenic Kiani Acti Beach.

Next, we'll reach Souda Island, home to a 16th-century Venetian castle renowned as one of Greece's most resilient fortifications and famous for its stunning turquoise waters, ideal for swimming.

Our voyage continues to Loutraki Beach, then to the beautiful Marathi Beach, and finally to the island of Marathi: Palaiosouda. We'll then return to Almyrida Harbor, completing our picturesque tour.

    Marathi Beach is a picturesque sandy beach on the Akrotiri Peninsula, just east of Chania. Known for its calm turquoise waters, soft sandy shore, and relaxed waterfront atmosphere, it is one of the most pleasant and accessible beaches in the area — a reliable destination for families, swimmers, and anyone looking for a comfortable day by the sea.

During the peak season (June to September), booking several weeks in advance is highly recommended, especially for private charters and luxury yachts. Popular boats and destinations such as Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa often sell out well before the travel date.

This "Almyrida to Marathi Souda bay Tour" was absolutely perfection and exactly what Crete needed! The turquoise sea was breathtaking, and exploring those secluded coves was pure magic; we spent hours snorkeling off the coast at one of the pristine beaches. What an absolutely perfect day trip! The journey from Almyrida through to Marathi Souda bay was stunning, with the clearest turquoise water I've ever seen. We spent hours swimming and snorkeling off those incredible coves, and the boat crew were so professional and genuinely fun to be around.
